He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Engel and Wilma Engel (Whitney); his daughter Regina Engel Smith; his sister Marlene; his brother-in-law James Kopp; his parents-in-law, Zoma and Edna Mansfield; and his siblings-in-law, Roma, Barbara Mansfield, Marcella, Ted Ketner, Edward, Mary Mansfield, Roberta, Al Zachrich, William, Peg Mansfield, Beverly, Robert Rettig, Paul, Betty Mansfield and Janice Mansfield.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Engel; his children, Kim Zartman III (Bill), Doug Engel (Pam) and Rhonda Moore (Rod); his grandchildren, Bill Zartman IV (Emily), Brett Zartman, Nicholas Engel (Carrie), Brittni George (Robbie), Danielle Bowers (Matt), Andrew Moore (Madison), Brooke Wendel (Mike) and Mandy; his great grandchildren, Addison Zartman, Brady Zartman, Maverick Zartman, Ruger, Adelia Engel, John Engel, Rorey Garces, Chesney George, Tytus George, Drakesyn George, Wesyn George, Oaklyn George, Montgomery George, Palin Bowers, Oliver Bowers, Lyle Moore, Bailey Wendel, Fisher Wendel and Madeline Wendel; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Mansfield and Janet Koch (Charles). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
