He was predeceased by: his parents, Serenus Grabiel Brugler I and Mary Caroline Brugler (Dulin). He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Riegle (Jay), Suzanna Brugler (John Paul Semper), Shane Brugler and Scott Brugler; his grandchildren, Sophia Riegle, Olivia Riegle, Sebastian Brugler-Semper and Leonard Brugler-Semper; his wife Linda; and his sister Mary Lois.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Defiance City Schools Athletic Boosters, the Defiance College Alumni Varsity D organization, or the Defiance Public Library.
