Shirley Adcock Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Adcock of Defiance, Ohio, who passed away on January 14, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Mekus (Ott) and Victor F. Mekus Sr.; her husband Larry; and her brother Victor Mekus Jr. (Joyce). She is survived by: her children, Todd Adcock (Melissa) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Laura Lapland (Ron) of Coldwater, MI; her grandchildren, Lauren Roof (Cory), Grant Adcock, Michael Taylor (Tayler), Cassandra Ely (Trevor) and Garrett Lapland (Brittany); and her brother Jerry Mekus (Judy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
