He is survived by: his wife Lois K. Bennett; his sister Audrey Williams; his children, Cathy Lisk, Krista Sanico (Michael), Garrett Bennett and Timothy Bennett (Danielle); his grandchildren, Taylor, Ashley, Megan, Davide Sanico, Jacob, Hanna, Alivia and Gabriella Bennett; and his pet Bella.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or ELARA Hospice.
