With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Gregory Castanien (Defiance, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 16, 2026 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father William J. Castanien; and his siblings, Jo Marie Castanien and Jon Paul Castanien. He is survived by: his mother Marjorie Castanien; his wife Kristin Castanien; his sisters, Carol Castanien-Bohn (Dave Peebles) of Florida, OH and Barb Castanien of Defiance; his niece Angelique Bailey (Jeff); his nephews, Joe Bohn (Jenny) and Joshua Bohn; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Liam, Aria, Rayla, Kendall, Jensen and Finn.
