The memory of William S. Duerk Jr. of Defiance, Ohio, who passed away on July 8, 2025 at the age of 68, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sr. Duerk and Doris Duerk (Memmer). He is survived by: his wife Janice Riedel; his children, Chris Ripke (Jodi) of Fort Wayne, IN and Danielle Brown (Ben) of Holland, OH; his grandchildren, Jack, Sterling (Madi), Hudson, Spencer, Cori, Harper and Karlene; his siblings, Larry Duerk (Theresa) and Loretta Gerken (Greg); and his friends, George and Kim Moss. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (655 Wayne Ave, Defiance, OH 43512).
