William left this world on September 27, 2025 at the age of 67, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Shuler and Alice Elaine Shuler (Robinson); his stepson Bryan Froelich; and his brother Dale Shuler. He is survived by: his wife Diana Shuler; his daughter Brandi M. Berry of Defiance; his grandchildren, Serenity, Kamdyn and Katheryn Berry; and his siblings, Michael Warrick (Phyllis) of Lake Odessa, MI, Chris Meyer of Defiance, Connie Petry of Wyoming, David Shuler (Debra) of New Bavaria, OH, Janet Renollet (Gary) of Stillwater, OK and Linda Michaelis (Fred) of Napoleon, OH.. He is also survived by his family and many great friends, especially his grandchildren, as he was a doting grandfather.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
