She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brown and Nollie Brown (England); her husband Melvin Newcomb; her sons, Jack Newcomb (Sandy Reed) of DeGraff and James Darrell Newcomb; her brother Jack Brown; and her son-in-law Joseph Puckett.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Puckett of Dandridge, Tennessee, Melvin Newcomb Jr. of DeGraff and Martin Newcomb (Shantell) of Marysville; and her brother Earl Richard Brown. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
