He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Holycross Sr. and Lois Holycross (Buchenroth); and his siblings, Raymond "Ray" Holycross, Jr. and Janet Holycross. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Holycross (Brown); his children, Steven Holycross Jr. of North Lewisburg, Greg Holycross of DeGraff, Jeremy Holycross of Columbus, Ryan Holycross of DeGraff and Julie Holycross of DeGraff; his grandchildren, Alexa, Kandas, Kaylee, Kyleah, Isabella, Greyson, Adaline and Blake; his great grandchildren, Raelyn and Zariah; and his sister Connie Akers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eichholtz and Daring Funeral Home and Cremation Center (321 N Main St, Bellefontaine, OH 43311). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at the Greenwood-Union Cemetery.
