He is survived by: his parents, Tim Cook and Lynn Cook; his sister Sarah Mroczkowski (Cook); his brother-in-law Nick Mroczkowski; his siblings' children, Cora and Sam; his brother Nathaniel Cook; his sister-in-law Taylor McCleneghan; and his significant other Sayuri Miyazaki.

Aaron was an aficionado of Japanese 7-Elevens; during the pandemic, he passed the time learning how to pick locks; and he created the sport of plungerball.

If you'd like to honor Aaron's memory, in lieu of flowers, his family suggests donations to the marquee fund for the Strand Theatre in Delaware; Habitat for Humanity; or Ohio Wesleyan University (in memory of Aaron Cook).
