David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew David will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Shade and Naomi Shade; and his brother Terry Shade. He is survived by: his spouse Garnet Shade (Hammon); his children, Terry Shade (Amanda) and Beverly Shade; his grandchildren, Thomas Shade, Madison Shade and Lillian Shade; and his brother Earl Shade.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to a local veterans organization or VFW post, or to a cancer research organization of the donor's choosing, in David's memory.
