He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Orville and Clara May Ann Hughes (Lucas); his wife Rita May Harp; his brother Charles Hughes; and his siblings-in-law, Dan Aumiller, Allen, Larry Harp, Melvin Harp (Lavada) and Martha Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Glenn Hughes, Christine Lehman (David Lehman) and David Hughes; his grandchildren, Jasique Hughes, Joshua Hughes, Tarra Hughes, Colten Lambdin, Keith Hughes, Kaylah Hughes, Kyler Hughes and Keigan Hughes; and his sister Carol Aumiller. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (334 S Sandusky St, Delaware, OH 43015).
