He was predeceased by: his parents, Melville Algernon Powell and Alice Powell (Olkonen); his wife Janice "Jan" Powell; and his grandchildren, Joshua Dague, Angela Vigil and Zachary Myers.
He is survived by: his children, Jay "Jerry" Dague (Michi) of Delaware, Peggy Vigil (Sid) of Ostrander and Penny Myers (Jerry) of Delaware. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Snyder Rodman Funeral Center (101 Valleyside Dr, Delaware, OH 43015). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
