She was predeceased by: her parents, Byrtle Ray and Esther Louise Kean (Laff); her husband Donald Roy Kanode Sr.; and her sister Peggy Wymer (Harry). She is survived by: her sons, Donald R. Kanode Jr. (Joell) of Pataskala, Christopher L and Kelly L. Kanode (Amanda) of Delaware, Ohio; her grandchildren, Christopher, Brian (Bekah), Zachary, Micah, Joel and Kaylee; her great grandchild Aurora; and her sisters, Penny Sebring (John) and Nancy Flowers (Roy).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snyder Rodman Funeral Center (101 Valleyside Dr, Delaware, OH 43015). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
