He is survived by: his significant other Clydette Wells Hetrick; his daughter Claudia Wade (Jared Wade); his grandson Carter Wade of Lewis Center, Ohio; his son Michael Hetrick of Los Angeles, California.; his brother Carl Hetrick of Carpinteria; and his nephew Jeff Hetrick.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in George's memory to Kobacker House Hospice and the American Cancer Society.
