He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordhandas Shah and Kapila Shah. He is survived by: his spouse Manju Shah; his daughters, Shobha Painter (Todd Painter), Sheetal Rai (Ranjeet Rai) and Sneha Pilgrim (George Pilgrim); his grandchildren, Alyssa Painter, Jay Painter, Mayon Rai, Anya Rai, Bella Pilgrim and Talin Pilgrim; and his brother Champak Shah (Sunder Shah). He is also survived by extended family and lifelong friends.
