He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Alexander Thornton and Helen Frances Thornton (McAdam); his former wife Krista Thornton; and his cousin Douglas "Doug" Marchel. He is survived by: his sons, Anthony Thornton and Angel Thornton; and his sisters, Cathy Earlenbaugh (Timothy), Joan Thornton (J. R. Berroyer) and Julie Thornton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; many beloved cousins; as well as many lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Snyder Rodman Funeral Center (101 Valleyside Dr, Delaware, OH 43015). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church of Delaware (82 E William St, Delaware, OH 43015).
