He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollin Jerome and Mary Janice Ressler (Pealer); and his grandparents, Joe, Alma Ressler, Oscar and Hazel Pealer.
He is survived by: his sons, Travis Jerome Ressler of Mt. Gilead and Mark Lewis Crothers; his sisters, Julie Whited (Jeff) of Marengo and Sharon Steel (Kevin) of Statesville, N. C.; his grandchildren, Logan Cobb, Isabella Ressler and Ryker Ressler; and his great-niece Belinda Phelps. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
