He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Elfner and Mary Elfner; his in-laws, William and Ruth Pierson; his brother-in-law David Pierson; and his granddaughter Greta Ruth Corinne Elfner.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Sue" Pierson-Elfner; his daughter Angela "Angy" Zalenski (Bryon); his granddaughters, Megan and Abigail; his daughter Amy Sordi; his grandchildren, Taylor and Marissa; his son Nathan "Nate" Elfner (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Drew and Rory.
