We are sad to announce that, on May 22, 2026, at the age of 96, Mary Steck of Delaware, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James and Mary Puttick Sr. (Wilson); her children, Judy Swope (Harry), Linda Mills (Bill), C. Edward Steck (Karen) and Forrest Steck; her granddaughter Kelly Wooten; her great grandchild Elizabeth Hughes; her great great grandchild Baby B. Maynard; and her siblings, Bill, Hugh (Jean), George (Inez), James (Katie), Harry Holmes (Jean) and Elizabeth "Bib" Edwards (Chet).
She is survived by: her children, Sue Steck, Scott Steck (Debbie), Sandy VanGundy (Terry Haubiel Sr.) and Tim Steck (Sharon); her daughter-in-law Deena Steck of Delaware; and her friends, Franco Alexander and Joseph Bright. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 40 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
