He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Franklin, Sr. and Dorothy Marie Alltop (Bradley); his brothers, Pete Alltop, Earl Alltop Jr. and Gary Alltop; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Ayers, George Ayers and Jim Edelblute.

He is survived by: his wife Susan (Ayers); his children, Lisa Clemans (Larry), Trina Wilburn (John), Jeff Smith (Kari), Chris Smith (Ronda) and Michael Alltop (Allison); his grandchildren, Eric Cordell, Mikayla Belli (Eric), Sabyien Davidson (DJ Clay), Justin Davidson, Tyler Smith (Shruthi), Canaan Smith (Melissa), Abigail Richardson (Ethan), Lydia Smith, Allyson Alltop, Aubree Alltop and Charlee Alltop; his brothers, Keith Alltop (Rosalie) and Patrick Alltop (Fritzi); and his sisters-in-law, Judy Edelblute and Terri Ayers. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
