She was predeceased by: her parents, Kennis Allen and Leona Vivian Maxey (Day); her husband Will Penrod; her brother Riley Maxey; and her brother-in-law Doug Duber.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Penrod (Rhonda) of Delaware, Ron Penrod (Lori) of Marysville and Rhonda Penrod-Smotherman (Allen) of Delaware; her grandchildren, Michael Penrod (Liz), Jared Penrod (Kelsey), Rebecca Penrod, Sean Penrod, Nicholas Cooper (Natalie), Kelsey McCardle (Corey), Garrett Penrod, Makenna Smotherman and Lukas Smotherman; her siblings, Walter Maxey (Kim) of Batavia and Drema "Dee" Duber of Lake Mary, Florida; her sister-in-law Frieda Maxey of Delaware; and her uncle Hucie "Hoot" Maxey. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
