He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward Sr. and Loretta McEnerney (Gallagher); his wife Virginia (Simmons); his sister Loretta; and his son-in-law Jeff Beitel.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Lyons, Edward and Diane Beitel; his stepdaughter Jean DAquino (Frank); his grandchildren, Jeremy Lyons, Andrea Hughes (Chris), Shannon Beitel, Brittany Corbitt (Ben) and Stephanie Carroll (Max); and his stepgranddaughter Christine D'Aquino. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
