It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert J. Bird (Dellroy, Ohio), who passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Robert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard R. Bird and Marcella E. Bird (Mahon); and his daughter Jeanne Bird. He is survived by: his daughter Julie Loos (Jeffrey); his grandsons, Matthew and Tyler Cairns; and his pet Timmy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ Community Church of Dellroy (20 E Main St, Dellroy, OH 44620). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dellroy Ruritans to continue Bob's legacy of community service.
