He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo German and Regina German (Wurst); his wife Mary Ann German (Herman); his grandson Mark German; his son-in-law Dan Rode; his brothers, Robert German and Vern German; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Herman, Leonard Herman and Jim Herman.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel German (Marcia) of Delphos, Mike German (Carol) of Delphos, Jeff German (Tina) of Warsaw, IN, JoAnn Cramer (Bob) of Chambersburg, PA. and Janet Rode of Delphos; his grandchildren, Dana Babani (Keno), Dave German (Rachel), Alysn Esposito (Justin), Christine Alt (Aaron), Laura Ring (Matt), Traci Salinas (Andy), Julie Caldwel (Rob), Katie German (Jayce) and Claire German; and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn German, Marie Herman, Arlene Herman and Carol Herman.
