As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Charles may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Susan Powell and Helen Lenhart. He is survived by: his children, Scott McDonough (Elisha) of Wauseon and Pam Schoonover (Elliot) of Kossuth; and his siblings, Sara Baldauf (Don) of Delphos, Elaine Schimmoeller (Mike) of Delphos, Maureen Wright (Dave) of Canton, Bill McDonough of Delphos and Jim McDonough of Rockford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harter and Schier Funeral Home (209 W 3rd St, Delphos, OH 45833). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
