David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew David will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollie Hittle and Julia "Mae" Hittle (Schrider); and his siblings, Rollie G. Hittle, Thomas J. Hittle and Anna Jayne Closson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bill Hittle (Kathy) of Shawnee Township and Julia Faze (Jerry) of Ocala, Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM and on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Harter & Schier Funeral Home (209 W 3rd St, Delphos, OH 45833). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Delphos Midget Football.
