With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fritz A. Obermeyer of Delphos, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 6, 2026 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Obermeyer and Margaret Obermeyer (Flanagan); his brother Charlie; his brother-in-law Rick Wieging; and his parents-in-law, Rosie Lyle (Stan) and Stan Wiechart.
He is survived by: his spouse Sandy Carder (Wiechart); his children, Megan Obermeyer of Columbus and Clay Obermeyer of Delphos; his stepchildren, Craig Carder (Bailey) of Delphos and Trisha Kroeger (Tony) of Lima; his grandsons, Cameron and Cohen Carder; his siblings, James Obermeyer (Jami) of Seattle, Chip Obermeyer (KC) of Seattle, Robbin Clark (Dan) of Durango, CO and Susan Wieging of Madison, IN.; his stepmother-in-law Elaine Wiechart; and his grandchild Cam. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Delphos Bass Club for the children's fishing derby or to the donor's choice.
