He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl T. Maas and Edna M. Maas (Mohrbach); his brother Larry J. Maas; and his parents-in-law, Carl A. and Dolores M. Hemker.
He is survived by: his children, Bryan Maas (Tiffany) of Delphos, Amanda Truman (Kyle) of Middle Point and Stephanie Maas (Joshua Flesher) of Lima; his grandchildren, Brayden, Raelynn Truman and Sophia Maas; and his siblings, Carl Maas (Anne) of Delphos, Sue Ricker (David) of Delphos and Becky Beach (Michael) of Delphos.
