He is survived by: his father Leonard Smith; his wife Joanne Smith (Hesseling); his children, Daniel Smith of Findlay, Jennifer Brown (Grant) of Fairborn and Erin Gerbec (Daniel) of Westerville; his grandchildren, Colin, Gabbie Smith, Elliott, Jillian, Nick, Patrick Brown, Evelyn, Ben and Andrew Gerbec; his siblings, David Smith (Leslie), Laura Priest (Bill), Patrice Mingle (Kalen), Joseph Smith (Cheryl), Mark Smith (Maryanne), Wayne Smith (Lisa) and Lanna Shawgo (Barry); and his in-laws, Jerry Hesseling (Rosie), Patricia Schneider, Kenny Hesseling (Anita), Thomas Hesseling (Irene), Mary Drerup (Tony), Dave Hesseling and Anita Kaverman (Jim). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
