He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathias Etgen and Mildred Etgen (Allen); his siblings, Dr. William Etgen (Jess), James Etgen (Mary Lou) and Betty Bowersock (Donald); and his brother-in-law Eugene Beining.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Etgen (Denise), Jeffrey Etgen (Lisa), Douglas Etgen (Bethany) and Jill Martin (Randy); and his sister Mary Ann Beining. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weber Funeral Home (1840 E 5th St, Delphos, OH 45833). A wake will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 7:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Church (331 E 2nd St, Delphos, OH 45833). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at the Walnut Grove Cemetery (9772 Ridge Rd, Delphos, OH 45833).
