She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Ricker and Anna Ricker (Kemper); her children, Connie Hoersten and Timothy Grothouse; her daughter-in-law Carla Grothouse; her granddaughter Heather Grothouse; and her siblings, Emma Foster, Leona Backus, Rita Steinbrenner, Rose Ricker, Isadore (Ike), Alfred (Pete), Gilbert, Mark, Richard and Harold Ricker.
She is survived by: her son Dan Grothouse of Delphos; her grandchildren, Todd Hoersten (Barb), Scott Hoersten (Krista) of Ottoville, Mike Hoersten (Liberty) of Columbia City, IN, Kerry Burris (Ricky) of Delphos, Adam Grothouse (Marcy) of Evansville, IN and April Grothouse of Delphos; her son-in-law Harold Hoersten of Ottoville; her sister-in-law Jeanette Ricker of Clyde, OH.; and her great grandchildren, Haley, Kylee, Jeremy, Madison, Morgan, Bryce, Charlotte, Clayton, Hayes Hoersten, Conner Burris, Everly and Bennett Grothouse.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harter and Schier Funeral Home (209 W 3rd St, Delphos, OH 45833). A wake will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (331 E 2nd St, Delphos, OH 45833). A burial will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at the St. John Cemetery.
