She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard "Cotton" Kohorst and Florence Kohorst (Baer); her brothers, Dick and Carl Kohorst; and her siblings-in-law, Sue Kohorst, Tom Carder and Jim Hammons.
She is survived by: her husband Tim Mericle; her siblings, Delmer, Darrell Kohorst, Edy Carder and Judy Hammons; and her sisters-in-law, Dorthy Kohorst and Glenda Kohorst. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and members of her church family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Delphos Wesleyan Church.
