He was predeceased by: his father Robert "Bob" Grothouse; his brother-in-law Gene Schwinnen; his sister Joyce Hilvers; and his niece Keri Mathison. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Welker (Scott) of Bradenton and Kevin Grothouse of Chicago; his granddaughter Maggie Clemons; and his siblings, Jan Hoffman (Dave) of Delphos, Bill Grothouse (Barb) of Delphos, Cindy Schwinnen (Dave Rabe) of Delphos, Patti Bonifas (Jerry) of Delphos, Deb Kundert (Jay) of Delphos, Jim Grothouse (Tracey) of Delphos and Mark Grothouse (Angie) of Delphos.
