It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rose L. Weber of Delphos, Ohio, who passed away on March 12, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank J. Hohenbrink and Mary Magdeline Hohenbrink (Cooney); her husband Eugene L. Weber; her children, Guy and Polly Scherger; her daughter-in-law Susan Weber; and her siblings, John Hohenbrink, Elva Sheets, Mary Ann Donelly, Richard Hohenbrink, Mark Hohenbrink and Elvera Wieging.
She is survived by: her children, Sid Weber (Kathy) of Delphos, Ned Weber of Springfield, Dr. Kim Weber (Jerilyn) of Springfield, Chad Weber (Jean) of Delphos, Trude Menke (Jeff) of Ottoville, Katrina Noonan (Doug) of Hamilton and Wendy Grothause (Dennis 'Grub') of Wapak; and her son-in-law Bob Scherger of Wapak. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren; and 41 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weber Funeral Home (1840 E 5th St, Delphos, OH 45833). A wake was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Delphos St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (331 E 2nd St, Delphos, OH 45833).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Polly Scherger Servant Leadership Tuition Assistance Endowment Fund #320FCJ, checks can be mailed to Catholic Foundation, 257 E. Broad St., Columbus, Oh 43215, or to St. Vincent DePaul.
