We bid farewell to Ruth H LaRue of Delphos, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 21, 2025 at the age of 96. Ruth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilford Theobald and Dessie Theobald (Rayle); her spouse Lavon LaRue; her siblings, Norma Adams (Ned) of Grover Hill, Chloris Hammons (Charles) of Middle Point, George Theobald (Barb) of Lima and John Theobald (Rita) of Spencerville; and her son-in-law Dennis Kimmet of Delphos.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dianne Kimmet of Delphos and Donna Sampson (Jerry) of Delphos; her grandsons, Brian Kimmet (Wendy Winget) of Delphos and Jason Kimmet of Delphos; her great grandchildren, Collin Kimmet and Reese Winget; and her siblings, Naomi Theobald of Paulding and Paul Theobald of Dupont.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Weber Funeral Home (1840 E 5th St, Delphos, OH 45833). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Delphos.
