He was predeceased by: his mother Anna Jayne Closson (Hittle); his mother-in-law Dorothy Metzger; and his children, Trent and Sara. He is survived by: his father Roger Closson; his wife Sharon Closson (Metzger); his siblings, Jeff Closson (Julie) of Delphos, Matt Closson of Celina and Jennifer Meier (Kurt) of St. Marys; his father-in-law Paul Metzger of Delphos; his in-laws, Tim Metzger (Jody Rein) of Loveland, CO and Annette Youngpeter of Delphos; and his godson Luca Meyer.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weber Funeral Home (1840 E 5th St, Delphos, OH 45833). A wake was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 7:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (331 E 2nd St, Delphos, OH 45833).
