She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Lyle Salsberry and Florence Salsberry (Johnson); her husband Dennis Smallman; her sons, Eric and Jeremy Smallman (Jessica); her grandchildren, Cole, Levi, Brielle and Tillie; and her siblings, LaRay (Nancy), Wilford (Judy) and Doyle Salsberry (Diana). She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society or to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

“I'm still trying to process the fact that Alice is really gone. Although the miles and years had made us distant, she will always be our sister. My heart aches for her family, her babies, and all those that had the opportunity to know and love her. We will all miss you Alice and we'll keep Dennis, the boys, Mom and everyone in our hearts and prayers. Love Susie, along with Dougie and Janice too!! (the Johnsons)”
