Linda Friend Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Friend of Delta, Ohio, who passed away on October 20, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl W. Griesinger and Laura A. Griesinger-Black (Taylor); her husband Kenneth R. Friend; and her siblings, Daniel Griesinger, Lilly, Frieda and Diane Griesinger.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melody Harris (Steve) of Delta, Becky Herrera (Tim) of Oregon, OH and Crystal Stout (Matt) of Delta; her former husband Rafael Johnson (Deb); her sisters, Lauretta Bovie of Monclova and Mary Ellen Griesinger of Toledo; her grandchildren, Abigail Harris (Natalie), Devon Grime (Kelby), Collin Harris and Grant Harris (Taylor); and her great grandchildren, Camille, Estella Cameron and Laelynn Grime. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Barnes Funeral Chapel (5825 OH-109, Delta, OH 43515). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at the Dutch Ridge Cemetery (12240 Co Rd 5, Delta, OH 43515).
