He was predeceased by: his parents, Genoia Trusty and Marshall; his sons, Virgil Gibson and Michael Gibson; and his siblings, Lee Trusty and Star Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Jewell Trusty; his children, Thomas Gibson (Kelly) and Drema Shultz (Rene); his siblings, Larry Trusty (Dorthy), Debbie Swangim (Brian), Donna Purdue (Mark) and Pamela Trusty; and his grandchildren, Meika Gibson, Levi Gibson, Brandon Gibson, Sabrina Rodriguez, Anthony Rodriguez, Torrie Mullins, Chelsea Gibson, Logan Paige Guess, Jordan Guess (Janaye), Destiny Guess and Dakota Shultz. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and good friends.
