He was predeceased by: his parents, Clare A. Johnston and Kathryn Johnston (Bernath); and his sister Carolyn M. Uhlik. He is survived by: his wife Connie A. Johnston; his sons, Scot Johnston (Angela) of Delta, Jeff Johnston (Amy) of Zeeland, MI and Andy Johnston (Becky) of Wauseon; his sister Joyce Plassman of Wauseon; his grandchildren, Aaron, Madeleine, Faith, Bryce, Kailyn, Riley, Zoe, Lucy, Malachi and Isaac; and his great grandchildren, Weston, Oaklynn and Penelope.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Barnes Funeral Chapel (5825 OH-109, Delta, OH 43515). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
