He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth Homer; his grandparents, Henry Bechstein and Lavon Bechstein (Meyers); his son Michael Bechstein; and his brother Kenneth Homer.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Bechstein; his sons, Matthew Bechstein (Teresa) of Delta and Keith Bechstein (Heather) of Delta; his brother Frank Homer of Missouri; his grandchildren, Logan Bechstein, Jacob Bechstein, Thomas Bechstein (Hannah), Tiffany Sanders (Levi), Timothy Bechstein and Trenton Bechstein (Aly); and his great grandchildren, Ryleigh, Myla and Jack. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
