It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Mathers Jr. of Delta, Ohio, who passed away on November 14, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas Mathers Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Mathers and Annabelle Mathers (Whitcomb); his brothers, Vince and Ronald Mathers; and his son Matthew Mathers.
He is survived by: his children, Andrew Mathers (Charlotte) of Fredric, MI and Ashley Partin (James) of Swanton, OH; his siblings, Carol Stover, Sue Stinehart (Glen), Sandra Proudfoot (Phil) and Glen Mathers; and his pet Maggie. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Weigel Funeral Homes - Swanton (204 Chestnut St, Swanton, OH 43558). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
