He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Shew and Jane Shew (Taylor); his sisters, Sylvia Bair and Sheila Davis (Sam); his stepfather Hermie Steele; his mother-in-law Agnes Ann Critten (Bensman); his grandparents, Walter Taylor, J. B., Clara Marie Taylor (York) and Bently; and his pet Rocky.
He is survived by: his wife Rita M. Shew (Critten); his son Doug; his grandsons, Cole, Christian and Chase; his sister Shirley Meyer (Jim); and his half-sister Tammy Shawley.
