With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dennis J. Parker (Deshler, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 12, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth E. Parker and Erma S. Parker (Bishop); his wife Janis Semer (Petie) of Alvordton; and his son-in-law Tim Black. He is survived by: his children, Dennis Joe Parker, Jr. (Vanessa) of St. Augustine and Tracy Black of Deshler; his grandchildren, Autumn Nguyen (Michael) of St. Augustine Florida, Samuel Black (Beth) of Findlay, Ohio, Benjamin Black (Justina) of Bowling Green, Ohio, Jacob Black (Cally) of Maple Grove, Minnesota and Apryl Parker of St. Augustine, Florida.; and his siblings, Roger Parker of Deshler, Carolyn Hiser of Deshler, Marolyn Bostelman of Archbold, Linda Parker, Michael Hiser and Frederick Bostelman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and good friends.
Memorial contributions can be made to New Beginnings United Methodist Church, the Patrick Henry School District Public Library, or to the Maumee Valley Sportsman's Club for a future way to memorialize him there in the future.
