She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Meyer and Pauline Meyer; her husband Alfred Basselman; and her brother Elwood Meyer. She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Carr (Archie), Debra Dennie (Steve) and Patricia Wray (Lance); and her grandchildren, Kimberly Lynch (Mike), Jennifer Disbro (Adam), Nicole Carter (Nate), Ben Dennie (Christy), Timothy Dennie (Andrea), Samantha Dorsey (Jon), Roxanne Johnson and Erik Johnson. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to St John Lutheran Church, Putnam County Hospice, or the Corn City Fire District.
