He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Hogrefe and Emma Hogrefe (Seemann); his siblings, Norma Dietrich and Harvey; and his brothers-in-law, John Sharpe and Terry Baer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ashley Schroeder (Trevor) and Whitney Nichols; his grandchildren, Serenity, Jaelynn, Willa, Brenley, Ricky and Aubrey; his siblings, Linda Sharpe, Marilyn Baer, Martin Hogrefe (Karen), John Hogrefe and Roger Hogrefe (Rhonda); and his brother-in-law Ronald Dietrich.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home (133 E Maple St, Deshler, OH 43516). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials to Putnam County HomeCare and Hospice or the Deshler American Legion Post #316.
