With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Scott Kress of Deshler, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Louise Kress (Watkins); his wife Pat; his brother Edward; and his father-in-law Norman Rohrs. He is survived by: his father Jack Kress; his daughters, Sarah Fortner (Ryan) and Jennifer Strause (Daniel); his sister Sandra Behrman (Norbert); his mother-in-law Velma Rohrs (Baker); his grandchildren, Marcia, Jackson, Levi, Noah, Addilyn Fortner, Cameron, Kate and Carter Strause; his nieces, Dawn Behrman, Heather and Melanie Scherdt (Charles); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Samantha Whitman (Lucas), Katie, Levi Johnson, Brady, Brian and Brooke Scherdt; and his stepchildren, Charity Duncan (James), Jeremy Shoemaker (Stephanie) and Shiloh Shoemaker (Breanna). He is also survived by children and grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family suggests memorials to a charity of the donor's choice.
