He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Custer and Mary Louise Custer (Shilling); his wife Monica Custer (Atwood); and his brothers, Timothy and Mark Custer.
He is survived by: his children, Chad Custer (Lyndsey) of Bellaire and Ryan Custer of Dillonvale; and his sisters, Sharyl LaCross (Doug) of Martins Ferry and Mikki Custer of Florida. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
