He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Serig and Bonnie J. Serig (Jewell); and his mother-in-law Lora J. Smith. He is survived by: his wife Maria Serig (Smith); his son Robert H. Serig of Dillonvale; his brother Kent R. Serig; his siblings-in-law, C. Nicole Harris and Eric Tanley (Meline) of St. Clairsville; and his close friend Brian Willett (Patty) of Canton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews complete his family.
